Land Policy and Urban Development in Latin America

Submission Deadline: April 24, 2017 at 11:59 PM

The Program on Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy invites applications for its 2017 Master’s and Doctoral thesis fellowships.  Fellowships will be awarded in the amounts of $5,000 for Master’s theses and $10,000 for Doctoral theses to students in Latin and North American universities who are in the mid to final stages of their thesis work.  The fellowships are part of LAC’s  initiative to identify and support the development of graduate students and young scholars working on land and urban policy issues that align with the Lincoln Institute’s mission and work in Latin America.   In addition to funds to undertake their thesis work,  fellowship recipients will also be given priority placement in future LAC distance education and professional development courses organized in Latin America.  Students may also be invited to present their work in one or more LAC-sponsored research seminars and networking events with senior scholars from Latin America and the Caribbean.
