Sena Segbedzi

Sena Segbedzi is a policy analyst on secondment to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris, France, where she will be working on the Champion Mayors for Inclusive Growth initiative as well as projects related to urban development, tax policy and economics, green finance and investment, and public governance. Prior to joining the Lincoln Institute, Sena worked at the Ford Foundation where she was a part of a team promoting housing, transportation, and employment opportunities in cities, most recently she served as program manager of the Foundation’s initiative for the equitable and inclusive recovery of Detroit.

Sena has a background working internationally as well, her experiences include designing an emergency management plan for the Greater Lyon Municipality in France, conducting an options assessment for waste management systems in Senegal with the African Institute of Urban Management, and analyzing domestic violence advocacy programs in Ghana. She holds a Master of Urban Planning from the New York University’s Wagner School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Italian studies from Wellesley College.
