Gerald Korngold is Professor of Law at New York Law School. Previously he was Dean of Case Western Reserve University School of Law (1997-2006) and a Distinguished Scholar at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Professor Korngold writes and teaches in the fields of property and real estate law, including international property law. He is the author of Private Land Use Arrangements (now in its second edition); the co-author of Cases and Materials on Real Estate Transactions (with Goldstein, now in its sixth edition); co-author of Cases and Materials on Property (with French, now in its sixth edition); and co-editor of Property Stories (with Morriss, now in its second edition). Professor Korngold has also published numerous articles in law reviews and journals. Professor Korngold is an elected member of the American Law Institute and the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. He has lectured nationally and internationally on land and property law issues.
