Emily McKeigue

Emily McKeigue is managing editor with more than 20 years of publishing experience in areas of land and tax policy, urban development, literary criticism, international studies, criminology, women’s studies, and ethnography. She began her editorial and production career at G.K. Hall & Company, moved to Harvard Business School Press, and to then Northeastern University Press where she served as production editor and project manager for 17 years. Emily began her work at the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy in 2004. Emily directed designs for book covers that have won numerous awards from the New England Book Show and the Association of American University Presses. Emily is an avid outdoorswoman, naturalist, and birder. She holds a degree in English and a secondary teaching certification from University of Massachusetts. She furthered her lifelong interest in all things design at Boston Architectural College where she earned post-graduate certification in residential interiors.
