Cuiping Tan is a policy analyst at the Peking University–Lincoln Institute Center for Urban Development and Land Policy in Beijing, China. Her research interests include land use planning, land-based financing, and urban renewal. She currently focuses on projects related to the vertical fiscal relations and urban renewal experiences in China. She has authored and coauthored academic papers and book chapters on topics including rural economies, industry collaboration networks, the energy-water nexus, and the economic impact of Expos. She holds a B.S. from Central University of Finance and Economics and an M.S. from Renmin University of China.
