The State Trust Lands Project is part of the joint venture of the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy and the Sonoran Institute.


At the Sonoran Institute:

Andy Laurenzi, Program Director, Growth Policy Program, Sonoran Institute, Phoenix Office; manages the program’s collaborative work to promote growth and development policies and decisions that protect the land and water in the changing West, including the State Trust Land Project.

Susan Culp, Project Manager, Lincoln Institute of Land Policy Joint Venture, Sonoran Institute, Phoenix Office; assists in the supervision of the State Trust Lands Project’s research agenda.

Armando J. Carbonell, Senior Fellow and chair, Department of Planning and Urban Form, Lincoln Institute of Land Policy; manages the joint venture with the Sonoran Institute and as director of the State Trust Lands Project for the Lincoln Institute, oversees the strategic management of the Program’s activities, including its research agenda.

Peter Pollock, Roland Smith Fellow, Lincoln Institute of Land Policy; based in Colorado, oversees the joint venture with the Sonoran Institute including activities of the State Trust Lands Project.
